A media wall turns the television, fire and all the clutter around them into one clean, built-in feature. At Pods2U we design and build bespoke media walls for living rooms, snugs, garden rooms and home cinemas across Devon, each one measured and made to fit the room rather than adapted from a flat-pack kit.
Every wall is framed in timber, boarded and finished by our own team, with recesses sized to your TV and fire, cable routes hidden inside the frame and storage built into the alcoves either side. Because we also offer in-house CNC cutting, slatted panels, shelving and cabinet doors can be machined precisely to your design. It is the same care we put into our carpentry and joinery work throughout the home.

Most media walls are built and boarded within a few days on site. Plastering, decorating and any electrical work add to that, and we give you a realistic timescale with your quote.
Yes. We build the opening to the fire manufacturer clearances and ventilation requirements, and a qualified electrician completes the electrical connection.
It helps to have chosen them, because the recesses are built to their exact sizes. If you have not decided yet we can advise on sizes that suit the wall and leave room for a larger screen later.
Yes. Media walls work very well in garden rooms and home cinemas, and we can design one into a new Pods2U garden room from the outset.
